Here is the work I have got done, Things have been slow for me but I am still trying. I will be away for awhile, I am having another surgery On the 5th of April. I have about 10 more parts to make and a lot of silver soldering and then I will be able to start the tank.

Here are some pictures of the oil pump I am working on. I am finally getting back in my shop. Also I made a hoist so I don't have to lift all this heavy stuff.

Great to see ou getting some shop time again!

That hoist sure looks like a nice addition.  Wouldn't mind having something like that to move the rotary table, mill vice, and larger lathe chucks around too!

That pump looks very nice!

What are the two fittings off to the right? Are they the oil 'receivers' that will connect to the two spigots on the pump?  And does that mean this is a double-barrel pump?  with two outputs instead of just one?

They are the check valves that go on the top of the cylinders. Then a line goes from the pump to the cylinders. Yes it is a two cylinder pump.

Wow!  The brakes on the tender are quite intricate, aren't they?!   And you've got a great start on the tank too!

Those pictures really show how large the chassis is compared to the trucks!  Much more overhang than in the A3 Switcher that I made.  You can really see that the K27 is a narrow gauge.
