The annual Stirling Engine Rally is on Sunday 28th September at the Broomy Hill Waterworks Museum in Hereford.

https://www.waterworksmuseum.org.uk/

The museum’s engines will be in steam and the Hereford Society of Model Engineers is next door.

Please say hello to me if you visit, I’ll have my Robinson, Heinrici, Rider Ericsson and Bremen hot air engines plus Chuk flame gulping Engine.

Situated adjacent to the Waterworks Museum is the Hereford Society of Model Engineers site https://hsme.co.uk/. They are having a public running day on the same day Sunday 28th September - a large track and well worth visiting.

Some pictures taken at the Stirling Engine Rally. Sunday 28th September.

Not as many exhibitors and visitors compared with previous years. Contrary to their advert the museum was not in steam, someone said there was a fault with the boiler. I had a disaster as I trundled my exhibits along on a cart - my Heinrici fell off, landed on a flywheel and bent the crankshaft. My other four engines survived. That was the first engine I made about 35 years ago.

My display.

Yes Sanjay I made a new crank and had the engine running again by Tuesday afternoon.
The owner of the Scott Flame Gulper couldn't get his to run on the day.

Great pics Andy and good to see you got the Heinrici fixed up again, it must have been gut-wrenching when it fell off the trolley  :(

Thanks Andy for the pictures. You can see some beautiful models there.

That accident must have been very annoying. But you fixed it well.
