New from New Zealand
« on: September 07, 2025, 03:32:47 AM »
 Hi, names Brett.
I've been thinking about this hobby for far to long, finally getting a little space together and starting to set up. Just a little Taig lathe and some hand tools so far, but access to a large mill/drill, press & plenty of cunning at work (hops farm with good workshop).
I like the look of the Little Locos 1/3rd Parcsell and Weed vertical hit and miss engine, 5" flywheels will fit the Taig when the riser kit arrives.
I will start a thread when the time comes, but plenty of those little odds and ends to I.D., find and buy yet.
Great site you've got going here folks, very glad I found it.

  Regards ... Brett

Hi Brett,
Welcome to the forum!  I had a Taig lathe and Mill for many years. Great little machines!

It is the journey that matters, not the destination

Sometimes, it can be a long and winding road
