As I ws perusing the YouTube channel I came across this video. Always wanting to learn about fellow craftsmen I watched the entire video.
Two things happened many years ago. One was the blossoming of the internet and the other the start of shows that catered strictly to model engineering. I attended the second NAMES show at Domino's farms in Ann Arbor and went to all of the subsequent shows except one. I have also attended four Cabin Fever show and last year the Indiana model engineering show. I can honestly say that between the internet and the model engineering shows I have met some of the finest, if not the best of the model engineering society. No names are needed here, all one has to do is go to the Craftsmansip Museum website and read the roster of the Craftsman of the Year members. This isn't even counting model makers and model engineers that are out there who work in their own world without any anonymity.
