Steam Engine
« on: August 07, 2025, 08:20:26 PM »
I was given this kit last year and I am just getting around to doing it now.

It is laser cut, mostly wood model that has forward and reverse, two speeds and a lot of intricate parts.

The fit and finish and the laser cutting is excellent and very precise. My fat fingers are being put to the test for sure.

I started with the wagon and barrels to get my eye in and I am now working on the engine proper.

My way of staying out of the 90f heat and high humidity.

I was cut out to be rich ... but ... I was sewn up all wrong!

The wood looks like brass in the photos!  :)
Best regards

The wood is very tight grained and smooth and easy to work with.
