Divisionmaster still around?
« on: November 18, 2024, 10:11:58 AM »
Was going to add this to the original post, but a new one is perhaps more appropriate.

Having been out of circulation for some time, I am now back and able to pick up where I was interrupted some years ago. The medw.co.uk domain has been 'hijacked' in the meantime, but https://medw.uk/wiki/DivisionMaster is back up and working again.
Current state of play is that I have almost all of the parts I need to produce more units, the only components that are missing are the semiconductors such as the PIC and drivers but they are in stock at the suppliers.
I CAN now pick up repairs on any units that have failed and have a few parts in kits to facilitate that. The one little black hole is that I do not have the PIC programmer to hand at the moment although I am sure I have seen it in passing so it has to be in one of the many boxes I have still to sort.

In addition to Divisionmaster, I also have a stock of spares and new product for the Taig mills and lathes which I'm slowly inventorying and can now also assist with repairs to any CNC kit I have supplied in the past.

Great to hear from you Lester, and that these are still supported.  They are simple to use and very precise. I've had mine getting on for 20 years. You did do a repair to my unit a good few years ago, after you took over from Tony.
I find the unit really useful, especially to avoid making indexing errors (i.e. less senior moments!).
