Hello, now that I see the cordless screwdriver and your hands compared to the motor, I am surprised at how big the model is.
The flywheel runs well. The green color goes well with ship steam engines.

First run on steam: it works!

HP and IP cylinders only in use, no drain cocks yet so I have to 'warm it up' gently without locking it up!
Now I know it works it's yet another partial strip to seal all the joints with the magic Loctite!

Nearly finished! Drain cocks Completed. How to route the steam?

I'm considering a 1/4" collector pipe hung just above the condenser, connecting the six pipes vertically into the tube. The tube could also run midway between the cocks, but I'm not sure on the aesthetics of that idea!
I found some 3/32" copper tube today, and that may look a little better than the proposed 2mm. Alternatively I could leave them alone and blast hot steam all over the workshop and let the new aircon take care of the condensation!😍🤩
All ideas and constructive criticism welcomed.😱

I got a lot of ideas for those sorts of detail from photos of a beautiful model by Brian Newbound. All I have are photos, no references. I know the model was shown at Bristol more than 10 years ago, but I don't have any other information.

Hi Gene. I found inspiration in that too, although there is no condenser to get in the way of piping!
