Per, I have my own version of the "Cold End" that Sebastian End makes and sells.

Basically a block of alumining with two inlets, one for the air and another from the pump to deliver the liquid.

The outlet is a piece of 4mm PVC tube set inside some cheap "Loc-Line" from China which allows the end to be positioned where I want it. In the end of the 4mm tube is a small brass reducing tube to get the velocity up.

I can do a quick 2D drawing if you want it.

Hello Per,

My delivery nozzle is even simpler. I am very happy with how it performs.

I used an off the shelf 1/4" bore Loc-line hose with base. The 3mm nylon fluid delivery pipe runs down the centre with a short length of 1.5mm brass tube sticking out the end. The droplets are picked up by the air blast and deposited onto the cutter and workpiece.

Could not be much simpler or more efficient

Cheers

Hi Per

I posted screen shots of the MD nozzle the other day, post #73
It is a more finished version of Mike's setup :), I could probably come up with some dimensions if interested.

Thank you Gentlemen

I think I already got all the parts for one setup of those somewhere and just need to get one set more - one on the Lathe and one on the Mill.

I might have a question or two later ....

Step file of my assembled "wet end" if that is of use.

I have the air flow valve at one one of the mill table in easy reach along with the speed pot on the power supply to the pump.
