Great to see ou getting some shop time again!

That hoist sure looks like a nice addition.  Wouldn't mind having something like that to move the rotary table, mill vice, and larger lathe chucks around too!

Hey Chris!

That's a cool story board.
I'm wondering if you could share the JPEG of your photo so that we (I) could read the captions better?

I went out to see the actual machine a couple of years ago, but I don't think I'll be out that way anytime soon.

Thanks, Sid
Hi sid,I was able to play with the compression a bit and got it small enough to attach the file to the post.  Clicking opn the image will open it to partial view, but if you click on the filename it should download to your computer so you can open it full size.
If you ever do make it out here again let me know, I should be able to get you in the gate with some advance notice, the shovel cab is open on the far side to get access in to the machinery.

hey guys i need your help for this mini update.

before i cut 40 $ of copper i want to run my numbers by those who did it.

the plan is a bit weird to me.

do you think that the layout is ok for the 2 intersecting radii with the flat front part

on the second one i showed the way i THINK it's supposed to be but I am not sure at all if it's the correct way to offset the center of the 1.23 Radius thank you.

and boy do i have a nice skateboard to show you later ;)

Here are some pictures of the oil pump I am working on. I am finally getting back in my shop. Also I made a hoist so I don't have to lift all this heavy stuff.

That worm gear assembly is working great!  Can't wait to get a chance to try that hobbing procedure in my own shop.
