I came across this the other day, its the base for the Triple but a mirror image; I guess if you were making a pair?

Thanks Sanjay : I'll leave the extra work to more determined souls, with a lot more hobby time on their hands!   But potentially an interesting idea, though as remarked, the cylinder arrangement needs alteration too...  Dave

Dave - I found your Stuart Triple Thread, I'd love to see some pictures of the progress you mentioned on my Stuart Hammer thread, I'm sure it's up to your usual superb standard!

Thanks, Sanjay.  I must admit that losing a batch of the digital photos that I took of the work on the cylinder finishing and the steamchests and covers has a bit deflated my enthusiasm for the write-up...  But I am taking various pictures as I go on with other bits, so will at some point record a bit more of the build.  I'm inclined, as this was never intended as a consistent build log as such, to hang on until the engine is well advanced ( er,  somewhen!), and do a write up taking a bit of an overview, as I have done with some other Stuart projects.
