It’s the annual Stirling Engine rally held at the Broomy Hill Waterworks Museum Hereford next Sunday 27th September. The museum will be running its engines so there will be plenty of interest to see including me with five of my engines. :cartwheel:
The museum is open from 11.00 ‘til 4.00.
Link to their website.

I wish I could attend! Hopefully there will be some footage of the event.

The museum has double booked the display area with an art group who had set up yesterday. Hence not much room left for hot air engines. So I’m not staying. To add to the disappointment I’m on my way home driving my diesel car past lots of filling stations charging £2.06 per litre for diesel fuel!
I’m really cross about this having spent time preparing five engines, loading up all the gear and starting  out early this morning.

That's such a shame and a poor show by the organisers, I'm not surprised you left!
Best regards

A bit of luck on my part then as at the last minute I had decided not to attend this year, so saved me disappointment and a 150 mile round trip.

Glad you didn’t have a wasted trip Andy.
Perhaps we’ll meet at the Midland show. I’m exhibiting there over the weekend and Sanjay has said he’ll be visiting on the Saturday.

Unbelievable. So I assume you won't be holding any shows there again  :hellno:

Our hobby is in enough of a decline without  :censored: treatment like that.

P.S. Sorry in no fit state to drive to/attend the Midlands show.
Enjoyment is more important than achievement.

Sorry to hear about the debacle Andy, you'd think they'd prioritize engines over an art display given that they were in-steam anyway. I was umming and ahhing over going as well so also saved myself a round trip.

I'll be at the Midlands exhibition but still not sure if it'll be Thursday or Saturday.

I will be attending the MMEE, but not sure of which day yet, as I'm only about 25 miles away I may even stretch to going twice as I sometimes feel that there is so much to see on just one visit it's quite easy to miss things.
However, whatever day/s I go I will be visiting the MEM stand.
