Title: Huxtable Hot Air Engine

Huxtable Hot Air Engine by Olds Engineering Maryborough Queensland Australia, finally finished the hardwood plinth, making the Bix burner holder with 10mm steel heatsink, brass thumbscrews, brass bolts, brass washers and other accoutrements to make the engine look like a showpiece on its plinth. Just a wonderful running hot air engine, quiet powerful and very very smooth.
Engine features-
Removable Brass Cylinder
1" (25.4 mm) bore and stroke
Ball bearing mounted crankshaft
5½" (140 mm) diameter cast iron flywheel
Cast aluminium base

Good looking fine runner  :ThumbsUp:  but isn't it a Sterling engine ?

Thanks, from my knowledge hot air engine and stirling are interchangeable names?

Not quite - while a Sterling engine is a hot air engine - there are other hot air engine types that aren't Stirlings and some not even close.
