Title: Make your own scale motor or generator

I put this on the other forum as well.
I wanted to make a more realistic motor/generator for my scale models to drive, so I took a small d c motor and 3d printed a new housing for it.
I drew the model in Fusion 360 and printed on my 3 d printer.  I just need to paint it a more realistic color than blue and make a pulley.

Interesting concept - and it certainly has a much older appearance with the 'new housing'  :ThumbsUp:

Did you 'Print' holders for the motor inside the 'house' that fixates it or ...?

Yes.  I designed the housings from the inside out.  The motor registers on each end of the housings and is fixed in place.
