I've just looked up the Elmers Tiny and yep, that sure is TINY - minimum requirement for me is that I can see the engine on the shelf once I've built it!

I didn't make this one, it was an estate find. It is pretty tiny though, 1951 date stamped on the bottom.

That's amazing - reminds me of a sunflower, at speed doesn't even look like its moving! Dare I ask what is bore/stroke of each of the cylinders/pistons?

It matches the original Tiny, 3/16" I think, just replicated around in a circle.

Yes - that was my first big build, it is from Kozo's New Shay book, learned a LOT doing that one. Did that around 12 years ago.

Do you have a build series utube or a forum on that!  Would really like to see how that was done.  Blondihacks is doing a locomative but has larger machines than my Sherlines...  Serious thinking of buying Little Machine Shop hi-torque 7450 7x16 lathe just to do just a little bit bigger things than risers.

Very nice, I look at things like that and wonder about my eyesight and size of my fingers when trying to make such small item, maybe jewellers loupe is required

The new tooling arrived in the nick of time - I made some brackets out of brass and the standard is now standing to attention and firmly braced on the box angle plate ready for the various operations tomorrow
