Small floats are fun  I choose to use an overflow chamber for the feed on my CD carb.

  Yes, it was quite fun, after some testing I found it quite ok, specifically I learned some...  I will use that experience for diesel engine fuel system

  Maybe...but I like to do things, plus I like durability.

The good thing about turned down wine corks - is how you aquire them in the first place.  It involves emptying wine bottles, the best way discovered so far is to drink the contents..........

An update :
Several different thicknesses, and I chose 0.25mm thickness.

With a thickness of 0.25mm, the float floats quite well.
