Design to make castings for Soule Speedy Twin Steam Engine

The passages in the top of the engine are quite complex, and it took me a while to figure out exactly how everything was routed, even having a engine to look at.
The actually passages in a Speedy Twin would be rounded, not with square corners as I have modeled it so far.
The combined cylinders and frame were difficult to 3D model, with a lot of odd curved shapes, and a lot of details condensed into a small area.

The cylinder/frame 3D model is not quite complete, but I printed out some of them to hand out at one of the annual Soule Museum exhibits.
The Soule museum folks would like a 1/4 scale engine to be cast, but that would be exceptionally difficult.
I think a 1/4 scale design would have to be a lost wax/investment type casting.

My business workload went exponential about five years ago, and I am not caught up with work projects yet, so have not been able to get back on this build.
I am also recreating what I think will look like the original Soule Speedy Twin 2D drawings, based on the few original drawings I have seen.
Most of the origininal Speed Twin drawings have been lost by the museum, so I want to recreate and redraw those, and give them to the museum.
Most of the Speedy Twin patterns are still hanging on the wall at the Museum.
Here are a few matchplates that were used for production of this engine.

CI:
The Speedy Twin engine design was very popular in the US for use to power sawmill carriages, due to it's high torque, very fast reversing, and compact size.
Only two eccentrics are used on the engine, and the engine does not have the usual four eccentrics and Stephenson's link or other reversing valve gear.
It is a very robust engine, and the museum notes that often Speedy Twins were replaced with electrical motors, only to be quickly changed back to a Speedy Twin, since electrical motors could not match the speed (reversals and carriage passages per minute) of the Speedy Twin, and the electrical motors could not survive the harsh conditions of a sawmill.
The Speedy Twin steam engines were manufactured into the 1950's.
I think the bore is 5"; I forget the stroke.
The crankshaft is a massive one-piece casting, with the counterweights cast hollow, and then filled with lead.
One person online was restoring his Speedy Twin, and he melted out his counterweight lead, and poured in new lead, just to have "fresh lead", LOL, what a waste of time.
The crankshafts could be purchased in gray iron (not sure if it was malleable or what), and steel.
I am not sure which material my crankshaft is made from, but it is very heavy.
The person I purchased the engine from was not in good health, so his wife and I had muscle the parts into the back of the minivan.
A minivan makes for a good transport vehicle when all the seats are removed, since it gives you a 4'x8" covered area.
