Found it!  Its this engine:
http://www.paddlesteamers.info/Marie%20Engines.htm

Nice detective work Chris; now how to build it!?!?  ;D
1. Go there, take 2 bazillion measurements.

2. Hide till after hours, dismantle and measure inside parts.

3. Run like they are chasing you. They are!

After the slew/crowd engines, my next build is the engine from the Diesbar, which is very similar  to this one...

The crank webs for the Erie and Bucyrus crankshafts have been drilled/reamed for the shafts. The larger hole is for the shaft itself, the smaller one is a bit smaller than the crank pins, so I can turn a shoulder on the ends of each pin to space the webs out.

and have also started thinning the webs to final dimension - the plans work out to be between stock sizes.

One set thinned down, one set to go. The ones on the upper right get another 0.1 thinner.

After that, will start rounding over the ends, then can start drilling for taper pins.

re the short pints - Oh no! Chris' shop elves have discovered the negative pint math concept!
So, imaginary creatures can do imaginary numbers...   :noidea:

Hmm, I think they would struggle a bit with the complex concept of the imaginary pint.

Sadly not, was being rushed out by the family  :-[

It does look similar to this one, but more complex:

Great museum!

Do you know what that last engine is? Looks like an oscillating  paddlewheel  engine, but is it a Maudslay, Penn, other?
