Ketan Swali RIP

I have just got off the phone to Ketan's daughter who has confirmed what we all feared when the names were released yesterday that Ketan and his wife Sheetal were the two people who perished in the light aircraft that crashed in North Wales over the weekend.

Most UK model engineers will Know Ketan as the man behind ARCeurotrade who retired last year. He got his PPL just over a year ago and was looking forward to spending his retirement flying.

They will be sadly missed.

I didn't know them personally, but used ARC a lot when I initially took up the hobby, I was always given good advice and was sad to see them close down; more sad now given the circumstances.

Very sorry to hear this news.  I had heard about a crash from friend who flys from Tatenhill.
I met Ketan a few times and went directly to the shop for some bits several time.  Very friendly and knowledgeable.

A very sad loss, my condolences to the family.
