I was doing random steam engine searches, and ran across this engine.
Not a style I have seen before in this exact layout.
The steam chest seems abnormally large.

The page mentions the patent number, the drawings in the patent should detail the internals of the steam chest, looks like it would be a rotary valve inside.

Some form of rocking valve within that steam chest. Look slike you can move the end attachment of the lever in ralation to the valve's pivot point and alter the cut off.

I have this one in the Future projects file.
