Michael S.:
The locomotive looks fantastic!

You did a great job with the colors and lines. What's the copper pipe from the smokebox to the water tank for?

Michael

Chipswitheverything:
Another beautiful model to add to the display of elegant and fascinating historic locos that you have been making.  The "improved engine green" and the lining makes this fine tank loco look very stunning.  Dave

mikemill:
Thanks for the kind comments, the loco is radio controled.

Michael
The copper pipe from the smokebox to the water tanks is for the exhaust steam to condence back to water.

Mike

Michael S.:
Hi Mike, thanks for the information. I've never seen that before with steam locomotives.

But the model of the locomotive is first class. I used to have a model railway (HO scale) and once tried building carriages and steam locomotives myself. The carriage is made of cardboard and the locomotive of tinplate. But the chassis are from commercially available manufacturers.

Michael

uuu:
I've always loved the "Improved Engine Green" colour scheme.
