David Carpenter, the editor of Model Engineering Website (MEW), has just announced,
"Readers may have seen elsewhere that the ‘National Model Engineering Exhibition’ will return to Harrogate in February. We understand from Lou Rex, organizer of the event since 1994 that sadly they have no plans for a show either at Harrogate or Doncaster in the foreseeable future due to lack of commercial support."

Hi I was allways surprised that REEVES 2000 are never at the shows , being their huge catalogue of model engineering models and parts ??!

Sadly due to the travelling distance/time I never manged to get to either of those shows.
It would be nice to see the Bristol Shows start up again :)

I concur with all that Jo has just said for exactly the same reasons.

I spoke with Kate, or was it Tasha at Reeves recently and she said exhibiting was far too expensive: for this reason show discounts were out of the question, and online sales were the way forward!
