Google "scanning/printing large drawing services near me". That'll tell who offers that service and where they are located. Most of these services can scan and print up to E size drawings, about 36" x 48". Contact them, tell them what you've got, and what you want to do. They'll tell you if they can do it, and how much it'll cost.
crueby:
Often when I want to enlarge a drawing and don't care if its really accurate, I'll scan or take a picture of it, and print it out in tiles on my letter size printer, and just trim the edges so I can tape them up with clear tape into the big version. If I want it better looking, then will find a local service.
Elam Works:
Before committing to a poster sized print you may want to print a portion at the desired scale on a letter size sheet (or whatever your printer can handle) to determine is the quality is good enough. it will probably look poor close up, but tape it up on the wall and stand back and view it. It may then look good enough for your inspirational purposes.

I have a couple where i have done that and you are right its a fine line (or not in the case of being enlarged :-) ) getting a good balance
cheers

The originals have plenty of resolution for a full-size copy. It all comes down to the scan and print steps. The excerpts I posted on the other topic (Dale's K-27) were originally scanned at 600 dpi and then dumbed down to 96 dpi for posting. They still look quite usable even at that low resolution.
