thats certainly an interesting video

looks like a lot of work went into building the thing, looks very complicated to me

Very Interesting ideas incorporated into the design of that. I wonder if the shaft/arbor/mount is stressed due to the possibly-out-of-balance rotating bits and pieces. It also scares me that he has to put his hand right near the rotating assembly while it is in operation.

I know that is only a demonstration, but the part in question could have more easily been created in a lathe to begin with.

As I said above, some interesting ideas that might be used to design one's own homemade tooling, but I don't think I would rush into a copy of this any time soon.

boring &facing heads, and especially taper boring heads are a last use 'get you out of trouble' device.

Things probably look faster and more dangerous on video (one tends to treat dangerous things with greater care, it is the oposite which oftens makes safe looking things dangerous)
