The show is August 17-20.
I am considering going and displaying my engines in the Model building. It’s a three hour drive each way, I would most likely go down and back on Saturday. Is it like Cabin Fever, where you can pay that day and setup your models?
If anyone else is going it would be nice to meet up. I know a few people mentioned it in Craig’s Le Rhône thread.

I'm hoping to be there, also figured to make it a one day trip.

I'm going but on Friday. Saturday is the last day and like the last day of most shows it clears out early. Bob

I am thinking about it. I'll be in Las Vegas until the morning of the 18th. I'd need to change my flight home, stay overnight in Philadelphia, and rent a car on Friday. The late flight home Friday night.

Thats good to know - sounds like Friday would be a good day to go.

That is interesting about Saturday. It’s hard for me to get off work right now. We have some big projects going on. But, at the same time, I’m getting older and need to do some things that I like to do. Decisions, decisions.

So, it looks good for me being there Friday. I don’t have my “Tiny” I.C. Engine rebuild completed but, I will still most likely setup in the Model Shed if there is room.
If anyone is going and wants to meet up, let me know. It is always nice to put a face with a name.

Was going, but the antique engine show at Mystic overlaps it, maybe next time.

Planning on being there Thursday. -Doug

Yes, you can just pay for one day. Tell them you have models to exhibit and they will let you drive in to the model building to unload. If you’re coming Friday or Saturday the model building may be full. You can bring your own table and set up outside if that’s the case.
I plan getting there Wednesday afternoon and stay thru the close of the show.

Went today and had a great time. There were more more model engines than usual but quite a few were in the bottom field with the full size hit or miss engines. Bob Herder was there selling his kits. Talked to two people who made their models from their own castings and both said 3D printing the patterns saw the only way to go now. Local rumor was Cattail Foundry had a one year back log of work ahead of them if you need something cast. Bob

I returned home a short while ago from Rough and Tumble. I had a nice time and was able to talk to Scott as well as meet Craig.
There is something for everyone at this show; I highly suggest it. I picked up a Rivett 13/64 5c collet for my 608 as well as a copy of the Henry Ford School’s “Shop Theory”. The book has some nice information in it.
