Hello from New York
Rledoux313:
Morning all, I’ve been lurking on and off for a while here and decided to come out of the darkness. I live in New York’s Hudson valley. I’ve been into the machining hobby for 8 years or so and have gotten into steam. I’ve build a couple small engines, and plan to get going soon on the PMR #3 soon. Followed by a swing at the Rudy K traction engine. I also volunteer regularly at the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association; you’ll typically be able to find me around the traction engines there. Anyway, thanks for having me

Tell us a little about that logging engine to the right.
That looks like an interesting build.
Thanks, Sid

Thanks for the welcome!
Sid, that is the “Dolbeer Steam Donkey” designed by Les Proper, featured in live steam and outdoor magazine. Here is the cover shot of the magazine. It is a 3 part series and those magazines are in the virtual library on the LSOR website.
