The steam pump is now finished.

It was fun building the pump. I think the green color suits pumps well.

It would be interesting to see how far the water will jet from a small nozzle at higher pressure.

I also think this pump is better suited for use as a fire pump; it is not well-suited for filling a steam boiler.
The old fire pumps have that slotted crosshead.
