This book sells for about $26 in Canada, and is well worth every penny. It has complete detail drawings for about 6 hit and miss engines, with full technical write ups and pictures, as well as drawings and write ups on flycutters, end-mill sharpeners, and even complete instructions on machining curved spoke flywheels. Probably one of the best books in my collection of machining related literature.

Brian: Are there plans in Shop Wisdom for the Topsy-Turvy? Thanks Roger
-
Roger,
I believe the Topsy Turvy is in there.
I can not confirm it.....I'll have to dig out my copy of the book and confirm it....standby.

I bought the book last year just for the curved-spoke flywheel technique and jig. Watch for a curved spoke flywheel on a build in the near future.

Rebush--I'm terribly sorry. I hadn't clicked on "notify" when I posted this, and consequently I never knew anybody had responded to my post. I see that you have your question answered anyways, so I'm glad someone else answered your question.---Brian
