Welcome to ModelEngineMaker !If you have problems registering or logging in, please use the contact menu option to request assistance.
I am in a local modelling club (for plastic kits etc) and they have just had banners and flyers printed with the club logo for when at shows, would you like me to pass on the contact for who did the printing if last years ones aren't available to print some MEM ones?
Hi Mike,I too would like to exhibit and run engines at the Midlands Show 2025. I have internal combustion (if I can get it to run ), hot air and flame gulping engines that are also suitable for running sedately (i hope) on their tables.Regards,Colin
Please cooperate and send me the necessary information, use it or loose it!!!
Alleluia !!Good news. With the help and cooperation of our MEM members, I have been able to piece together the MEM display entry for this year's Midland Model Engineering Exhibition (MMEE 2025). I have completed all the necessary forms and can now submit them. They should arrive with the show organisers just before their cut-off deadline. We are expecting to be allocated two display tables in the same location as last year i.e. in the well lit tented annex. We are expecting to have a display of Mike Cole's magnificent aero engines on the Thursday and Friday. Also a large display of more traditional single cylinder engines on the Saturday and Sunday, curtesy of Chipmaster, samc88 and Twizseven. Hopefully we will be allowed some indoor engine running. We wait for confirmation.Thank you all for your cooperation. Unfortunately this will be the last year I am able to coordinate the MEM entry. Next year, someone else will need to take over the reins. I don't want to go through this again. CheersMike
Thanks for taking the time to go through sorting it all Mike, cheers,Sam
Thanks to Mike Tull for taking care of the MEM entries paperwork to the show. Andy
What a lot of lovely engines! Many, many, thanks to all who made this happen, from Mike for organising it, to the four guys manning the stand and to all those who supplied models and posted the many photos and videos on here. For someone stuck in France and unable to visit in person as had been intended, it really made my day to see this thread. Very much appreciated, one and all.Chris
Thank you Mike, yes I was there on Thurs and Friday with a friend who moves the heavy engines for me,we had lots of interest on both days. I had a small banner printed and we pined it onto the back wall behind the tables, also I had 120 business cards printed to hand out to those who were interested. Most of my aero engines are on the youtube video. The organizers were very helpful on both days we were there, we had a good time though we were driving160miles a day Thanks again Mike for the paperwork it worked well. Mike C
