Nice collection of interesting engines, excellent work
Would be interested in a little more information on the last picture (group of three).

Well, all machines shown were built by me in the last 30 years.
This is the last small series of steam feed pumps for locomotives of gauge 5". The first series I put on 1994. There were 15 pieces at that time.
I produced this last series in 2007 with a total quantity of 7.
They are small self-starting, flywheel-less double acting steam pumps, which have a 16mm steam piston diameter and the water piston is 10mm. The stroke is 22mm. The pump is of the type "Westinghouse".
In the lower pump body there are two suction valves and two pressure valves.
The total size of the pump is 115mm.
In the last year I made two more, slightly larger pumps for a 7 1/4" gauge locomotive.
These pumps have the dimensions steam cylinder 30mm, water cylinder 16mm, stroke 40mm.

In 2016 I built the Pillar tool by G.H.Thomas.
I found the drawings in his book "Workshop Techniques".
I did not use any cast blanks for the construction. The complete device was worked out of solid material. Some parts I found on the scrap metal. Other parts I bought from steel dealers.
Since I can't work well with the imperial measurement system, I converted all measurements to the metric scale. This will inevitably result in very unfavorable dimensions. All measures were then rounded up or down.
But see for yourself.

Thanks for the photos of the pumps. Always thought about putting a pump on one of my locos but never have. Would be interested in seeing one of your pumps fitted on a loco. Are the pumps to your design? Great work.

The principle of the pumps was developed by H.Wittman, who unfortunately has already passed away. But I redesigned the pumps and adapted them to the appropriate scale.  I don't have any drawings, only rough sketches of the function.  At the garden railroad workshop in Germany there are still drawings by Hans Wittmann.
