1913 Galion road grader
« on: July 05, 2020, 02:51:23 AM »
Gentlemen,
Not knowing exactly where to publish this I thought that vehicles and models would be the appropriate place.
The Galion road grader that I published the build log in 'My Own Design' has finally been completed.
Enjoy the video.

Absolutely exquisite.  I was looking for the Faberge signature. Stunning!

Hi George, another awesome masterpiece of craftsmanship out of your shop.
To see and discover all these little details at your model is pure fun.
Thanks for showing us also the "making of" in your other thread.
M1 and M1,2 is still missing in my shelf until today.
Kind Regards
Achim

George
The video and explanation of the model is very interesting, may I make a suggestion that you make another video demonstrating all the movements of the various working parts you have faithfully reproduced.
I think it would add another aspect to what is a piece of engineering art.

George,
One of the all-time finest examples of superior skill and craftsmanship in model making.
Congratulations!
I expect it to be the centerpiece of some museum display.

Museum quality indeed  :praise2:  :praise2:

Thank you for showing us how you made it George

I still think it's a shame that there's no roof over the full size one (and that's kind of mentioned in the video too).
