Looking after your Customers
« on: June 08, 2020, 01:34:02 PM »
I have just had a bit of a shock, the postman has just safely delivered some castings and didn't get savaged by Surus as he put them through the letterbox as neither of us had any idea they were coming   :noidea:

It is a few years ago that I purchased a set of 1909 Mercedes castings from Adrian and at the time I was rather pleased with them. Then I noticed when Steve made his https://www.modelenginemaker.com/index.php/topic,8649.msg202754.html#msg202754 he had some rather nice new lost wax castings supplied by Adrian which had not come with my earlier set  :-\ .

As you can see by his letter Adrian has been thinking about his customers and has sent us a set for free  :pinkelephant:  :whoohoo:

I wonder if this will mean these castings will allowed out with the rest of the set for a fondle or possibly for building in the not too distant future  :)

Hi Jo.

I think you should make a start on it. I want to find out how I should have bored the hole for the main bearings!

Jason,

For your information. a Merc is a Singapore taxi and a Mercedes is either an aeroengine or a GP racing engine. Always was and will be. :stir: :stir: :stir:

Stay safe

Mike those old taxis keep going on and on unlike a GP or aero engine that needs constant servicing and rebuilds  :LittleDevil:
