Hi Derek, I not sure what it has to do with me. I am in Melbourne and still in lockdown until tomorrow, when the travel restriction is only lifted from 10 km to 25 km. Mainly to minimise the usual general exit from the city for the coming long weekend.
As I understand it, most of the country restrictions were for the very reason that too many people tried to escape to areas where there were fewer restrictions, so there was a real risk of them spreading infection. I have no idea what is involved in getting exceptions approved, or what exceptions are likely to be approved.
All too political for me.
