Neat.  I wasn't  aware that phosphor bronze wire could make a good spring.  Did you have to stretch it to work harden it?

I cut about a 3ft length, one end in the lathe chuck and a the other end twisted around a wood dowel handle,, hand crank handle in the lathe shaft,, put a good stretch and tension turning the crank.. seems to have worked well,,

made the mounting plate with the adjustment slots,, used a sheet of thin clear plastic to mark the hole positions from the pump assembly and transfer them to the mounting plate..the pile of parts in a small space is really adding up!!

Woo Hoo!    :whoohoo:
Slim is going to be building a squirtgun nozzle for it, better watch out!

Does this pump need to generate pressure to inject into the boiler? Or is this a pump to go back into the water supply tank?

this pump will keep a vacuum  in the keel condenser and return condensed steam to the fresh water tanks,, the duplex navy worthington pump is next on the list after the shop clean-up and organize.. this will be the feed pump for the boiler.. I got a good start on it before pausing to work on making the hull,,
