Not so tiny, "Tiny "
« on: April 07, 2025, 07:40:53 PM »
Hi All,
Decided to make Elmer's "Tiny" engine 3 X scale. In the main body I turned and bored some 660 bronze for the cylinder pivot bushing. The crank shaft and piston/connecting rod have ball bearings. I made the cylinder with a thru bore
of .562 diameter and added a cylinder head. The cylinder runs against .005" thick adhesive backed UHMW tape on the body. The brass cap on the body covers the center drill hole from the lathe work. Set collars and spacers are brass.

First build ran so good I made three more.  :o Needed something to do.  8)
