Greene Automatic Cutoff Steam Engine
kvom:
I just saw your post. The exhaust ports need to intersect the cores properly so that the exhaust steam enters the lower fixed half of the valve, so I wouldn't move them vertically.

Up for adoption:
As I am no longer willing or able to drive long distances to shows, and as this engine is too heavy to take by air, I am going to offer it to someone who does drive and attend model shows. Otherwise it will just sit in my shop gathering dust.
Although the engine did run back in 2021, I haven't been able to revive it since I looked at it again recently. The problem is in the exhaust valves; they require time to adjust properly. And I no longer want to spend the time to do this properly.
I have the plans in PDF form and SolidWorks files.
My shop is in a northern suburb of Atlanta and can be picked up here.
Let me know if you're interested in adopting this engine.
