Thank you Kim, Per and Stuart,
Since I'm no longer happy with the blue color on the original Stuart 10, I've now changed it.
I bought the engine at an exhibition 22 years ago. He was without color. I don't remember why I painted it blue.
I think it will look better now.

Looking great and I really enjoyed seeing how the fabricated parts were put together.

Really enjoyed this adventure in fabrication, making everything is a satisfying pursuit for some of us and the tradition shade of green is a little less wild. What’s next???

I like it, but have never really been a fan of blue.

I like blue - but I think the much darker shades of blue work better. The green is much better here. You can never really go wrong with green on a steam engine.

Today I put the original Stuart 10 back together.
What I didn't like is the brass cylinder cover and the brass upper connector on the slide box. I changed all of that.
And both engines have a wooden base.

Now the engine is ready! After I made the eccentric everything was assembled.
With compressed air it started immediately and runs like a bee.
Now I managed to finish it before Christmas and I wish everyone here in the forum a Merry Christmas.
And lots of useful gifts and a few quiet days.

(It's not a good Christmas time in my city at the moment, we had a terrorist attack at the Christmas market 😔)

Greetings Michael

Beautiful little engine, Michael!

Yes, I thought about you when I heard about the terrorist attack in Magdeburg and hoped you and your family were OK.  That is a terrible thing  :(

Thanks Roger and Kim,

Now I can continue working on other construction sites.
There's still a lot lying under the workbench.

Luckily I wasn't in the city center and we're fine.

The miniature Stuart 10 runs beautifully, and the two engines paired together, little and large, make a fine display.  The repainting was worth the bother of doing it.  Good wishes to you and your family at this difficult time in your city.  Dave

Excellent result on the engines Michael. I very much enjoyed seeing them both running.
