Roger B:
And finally a family shot.

The next piece will be the scavenge pump inlet valve block and then lots of drilling and tapping to put the various cover plate on the crankcase and cylinder block so I can test the scavenge system.

Nice progress Roger - good to see new parts added to the Family shot

Thank you Per

On with the scavenge pump inlet valve block. This will have a 1mm gasket to the scavenge pump cylinder which will hold the outlet valves in place. The top cover will have some plugs/spigots to keep the inlet valves in their housings. The Hylomar sealant will probably be sufficient but I always like to make sure that things stay in place.

Hi Roger

You might already have seen it - but Find Hansen has released a Video (actually two) about how he fixes a Chinise Model Diesel Engine.
Here he reveals some of the important things about his Injector designs - though it might help you with this engine
