Lathework book scan (aimed at beginners)
Gas_mantle:
Hi,
I came across these 2 scans of a book aimed at beginners to lathework, they are very old but they may be of interest to newbies to this hobby.

Very interesting and some great basic knowledge there and a good review no matter what your experience level. Thanks for posting those links.

Thanks :)
I thought they were a decent read for beginners and possibly even a few more experience members

My brain read lathework as leather work go figure. Anyway that is the book they issued me at school and I still have a copy on my shelf including one in Spanish.
I learned on a South Bend Lathe and the one in my shop is still my favorite lathe.
