Let's close this puppy out. The next parts to be made were the cranks. After facing off the stock,I drilled and reamed the center holes.

Then over to the mill where the crank pin hole was drilled and the shape milled out.

Then the cranks were parted off and the faces cleaned up.

Then back over to the mill where I drilled and tapped the holes for the setscrew.

The crank pins were pressed in and the cranks are done. Next up were some spacers to to clear the flywheel. I started with some hex stock and turned down one end to threading size.

Then it was threaded 6-32.

Then I flipped the spacers and did it all again. With those complete it was time to make the flywheel. A flywheel blank was turned to length and then trepanned  on both sides.

The center hole was drilled and the blank was taken over to the mill. Because of the crowded nature of the design I used my mill's bolt circle function to put in 5 holes instead of doing a spoked flywheel.

Here's what was intended to be a final family shot but looking at the picture I forgot to include the base.

After a light polish I assembled the parts per the instructions drilled the exhaust port.

Then I drilled the  intake and it was done.

Look for final pictures/video in the showcase when I get it running.

Tony
