I have only been Building engines for the past three years and these are my specimens. Hope you enjoy them.

Wow you have been busy! I particularly like the epicyclic :insane:.

Question: how do you keep the brass so shiny? Have you lacquered it or something :thinking:?

Jo, I do not lacquer brass with moving parts, I polish when they need it. They pretty much stay in doll cases, when I don't take them out for my grandsons, and stay shiny for quiet a while when not indirect air. I like polishing them when needed.

I like that marine one too...and with the dynamo and lamp...well I've already posted elsewhere how much I like seeing engines doing something more than just turning.

A nice collection you have there.  5 engines in 3 years, that's an average of 6.5 months per engine.  Not bad. :whoohoo:

Thanks for the kind comment Vince, but it was four engines in three years. I am starting number five. It will be Ruby,s forward and aft Compound Steam Engine all brass and bronze.
