Great that you got it running again

Next step as you say is to make it run on only the injector - I hope that you will succeed in this too

Hi Roger !
I've seen
I like the way you use the injectors for your engine, I will try it with my engine
about injectors, just sketching on paper is ok
My injector picture, i'm not sure if it's the injector  ;D ;D

Following the results with the other injection systems I decided to lap the delivery valve on the diesel and have another try. The initial priming was much easier and the results with the 10░ nozzle were encouraging.

The 15░ nozzle resulted in a runaway.

After this it wouldn't inject or start again  ::)  :headscratch: I suspect that the injection pump plunger has overshot and jammed

I am currently working on a slightly smaller helix type pump which should reduce the inertia of the pump components. I am also thinking about converting this engine to a four stroke for some trials. It is much easier to separate the various influences.
Best regards

Roger

I'm still working on this   :headscratch: I am not sure if my original plan to start with a 2 stroke was the best  ::) so I am studying how easy it would be to convert to a four stroke and what sort of combustion chamber I would use. I am definitely getting 'diesel' combustion but if the atomisation is not good I think it is running on piston blow by  :toilet_claw:
Best regards

Roger
