You beat me by one- I did not know about the first show, but I made it to #2 and every one since. I was thinking about this a while ago- this year my round trip mileage was 1874, so I have driven about 44.900 miles to see this show.
And your second photo has my model ice cream freezer in the corner. That engine was built by Norm Jones, one of the past presidents of the New England Model Engineering Society.
the 'model boat with running engine' needs just a bit more explanation- the engine is a 12 cylinder Liberty engine, a WWI aircraft engine. Lou is building 2 of them, the one in the boat and the other fitted out as an aircraft engine.
It was fun sitting next to you at the show.
