I motori Italiani per autoconstructione fino al 1960: Piani Costruttivi

(1/3) > >>

Jo:
I have just been lent one of the most amazing plan books for model engines I have ever seen , in English its title is: " The Italian self construction engines till 1960 Plan Book".

The author Giacomo Mauro  has put together a wonderful collection of small aero engines each has a historical description of it in both Italian and English and their drawings in metric  :naughty:.

I fear that this was one of a limited run of books as it is copy number 30 :'( Can anyone put me in contact with Giacomo Mauro to see if I can acquire a copy of my own.

Jo

Ramon Wilson:
Ahemmm! I think you better join the queue Jo  - I think you might find it a rather long one

I was shown some of the content last week by you know who ;)

Your Italian thread title has preempted my own by about a day - I'm not looking for the book but am about to start on one of those Italian beauties inside  :D

Good luck with your search - aero engines next? Really, will this girl ever stop  :Jester:

Regards - Ramon

Ramon Wilson:
I forgot to add - you could try this guy he has contact details on the left menu

Jo:
:naughty: Yes but I have the whole book to read (and I can read Italian ;)).

I would however like to Giacomo Mauro about its copyright status. There is nothing in/on the book :o and it is an absolute gold mine .

Jo

Ramon Wilson:
Who needs to read Italian Jo - as (visually), like the pictures the plans are 'in English'  ;)

Be very careful - they can be very infectious little devils  :mischief:
