Newcomen Engine
« on: February 08, 2014, 09:49:12 AM »
Hi All,
Had my latest copy of The Shed Magazine arrive in the mail. This is a MUST have mag for any Shed inhabitant, it is New Zealand based but available either by post or electronically if you so wish. NO I dont have anything to do with it, just a happy reader!
Any way for those of you with a steam bent may like to check out the vid  http://www.theshedmag.co.nz/online/current-articles showing the engine running, enjoy! I hope to see this for real one day, more pictures then. The article says the guys have made it for transporting, something that the orginals didnt do.

Cheers Kerrin
Get excited and make something!

lol,
All we need now is someone, living in NZ, to make up a set of blueprints for a Newcomen Atmospheric engine??

Thanks for the link.

Geoff.
