bolt cutoff fixture
« on: July 25, 2012, 07:47:16 PM »
I bought this 6"cut off tool at HF. To make it useful for cutting bolts down I tapped holes for various sizes in a short length of 1/4" steel angle, SAE on one side and Metric on the other. The angle is mounted so the flat side is flush with the back side of the blade. To use I thread the bolt into the proper hole to the depth I need and chop away, easy peasy.
