They are the check valves that go on the top of the cylinders. Then a line goes from the pump to the cylinders. Yes it is a two cylinder pump.

Well I have had some time to work onmy K27.I finished the brakes and am working on the sides of the tender tank, what a pain!Feel good to be working again.

Those pictures really show how large the chassis is compared to the trucks! Much more overhang than in the A3 Switcher that I made. You can really see that the K27 is a narrow gauge.
