Looks fantastic Dek....even when out of focus.

No doubt the next set of pics (and video!) will show the awesomeness.

Those are some hefty gauge fibres - what size are they?

Thanks again for the kind comments gents. Don, spot on with the time .  Heffalump, the fibres are 1.5mm for the minutes & hours, and 1mm for the seconds. Maybe the sheen on them makes them look bigger in the photo.

Cheers Dek. :old:

Thanks Dek.

I think it's probably a mental thing - fibres we use here at work are between 8 - 250 µm

Hi Heffalump, you don't work at Optronics by any chance do you. I have some of those teeny-weeny ones, they came from the scrapyard when "Marconi" closed their Liverpool factory. Our local (Crewe) scrapyard had a contract with them until they closed.

Thanks Deko for the video and it's fantastic, and a awesome built. This clock needs to be in the Joe Martin Museum. You need to inter Joe's craftsman of the year contest. I am serious about this Deko. I do like....... :praise2:

Fantastic work Derek. Very unusual and interesting. You are far too modest about your abilities. It should be in the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester. The school kids would love it.

Thanks for the compliment Gary.  Show it at MSI, Mmmmmm  I shall keep my eyes
open for a bloke on crutches at Harrogate on the Saturday so if you get accosted by a bloke with a beige baseball cap, glasses, and a beard, it'll be me. :???:

Cheers Dek.
