Patterns for flasks

I considered making some aluminum flasks, but wood is just too simple, so I have never made these flasks from aluminum.

I generally custom-make wood flasks for a given engine, but with wood, and a nail gun, making a flask is a 10 minute affair, so no big deal.

The lightest design is the one with ribs.
