SloMo Wobbler
« on: July 20, 2012, 01:53:43 AM »
Hi
My small oscillating engine in slow motion

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilCLKrFbkd0" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilCLKrFbkd0</a>

Just as a bit of info. It is running at about 700rpm, about 12 revs/second.

The real time length of the video clip is about 0.9 sec, if you count the revolutions it should be about 10 or 11.
 :)

Excellent DaveH! I like the wobbler and the music... the music takes me back to the days when I enjoyed TopGun!

Kind Regards.

Dave, what did you shoot the video with. I seem to recall that someone (may have been Bogs) posted on another board that some of the newer small digital cameras now offer this feature. Would be nice to have for things like this and the video comes out very nice I must say.

Bill, I have a Nikon Cool Pix P310 and it does short videos.  I think lots of them do now.

Thanks Ewald,  :) I'm not sure if the music made the movie, or the movie made the music

Bill, A Canon IXUS 220 HS.  It has a slow motion feature - maximum of one eighth (1/8) full speed. I think the one Bogs has goes to 1/10.

Thanks Dave,  I have an older Canon I love and still works perfectly, but when the time does come the slo mo is a feature I would sure look for.
