Hi Jo, yes I am also back on-line thankyou.......

Being in Australia, so not sure where the Indonesian web-block came from?
I thought ozzie46 may have experienced a location issue by name, however I see he is from Pueblo, CO USA
Did our MJM460 in Melbourne also suffer the same fate?

Hi Derek,

I am missing a part of the story here.  I did experience a black out for a couple of day a while back, but I believe Ade explained that.  No problems since, and even loading those giant photo files some are posting quicker than before.  Won’t be helping the storage issues.

I read all new posts every day and have not experienced any new problems so far.

Thanks to Ade and Jo and the other moderators for all the work you do to keep the forum running so well.

Unfortunately, Ron got caught in a blanket IP ban - one which was a little too on the aggressive side... I tweaked it to only include known bad IP addresses, which seems to have helped.

In the meantime, for the last few days, I've been adding multitudes of firewall rules as I see the scrapers active. I thought I'd done quite well until I saw that we had 15,000 online at one time again today  :hammerbash:

I'm working on a piece of software which will hopefully keep an eye on the sessions list, and once one goes crazy, will firewall it automatically...

I'll put an announcement out first, though, with instructions on how to contact us if you get blocked!

Cheers,
Ade.
Cheers,
Ade
